Current positions at Ultra Precision – CNC Miller

CNC Miller

We are seeking a CNC Miller to join our team of engineers, working on 5 axis Matsuura, 5, 4 and 3 axis Hass machines and our recently purchased – December 2025 – Brother BT30 mill.

As a minimum you will have experience in setting and operating CNC mills, however proficiency in programming will be seen as a real benefit.

We operate to AS9100, operating in diverse industries from aerospace through to agriculture and everything in between. We machine complex components in a wide variety of materials, leading to a wide variety of projects and components to be involved in. Programming is completed using Feature Cam.

On top of the 9 CNC mills, we run a total of 35 CNC machines. As a company we have recently made a number of significant investments in two new twin spindle chucking lathes, a laser scanner for inspection as well as the aforementioned Brother mill. With more new equipment set to arrive throughout 2026, we are looking for someone to join our ambitious company.

Renumeration is dependent on experience, between £13.00 and £20.00 per hour.

Expected hours are 40 per week.
