Featured Part – Brass Body – CNC Turning / Milling Centre
We manufacture this part on a regular call off order for a customer. It is a brass body made from CZ114 which is a fine grain brass, which can withstand high pressure, and nickel plated. We manufacture this on a twin spindle, twin turret CNC Turning / CNC milling centre. This allows us to produce the part in one hit from 2.75 inch diameter bar, including milling the hexagon. The part is honed after machining to achieve a 0.2 finish in the bore prior to plating.
